BrightView Design Group, one of the nation’s largest landscape architecture and planning practices, was recognized at this year’s American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Colorado Design Awards with an Award of Merit in the Planning category for Stanly Ranch Resort. Located in Napa, California, this 95-acre resort, residential, and winery development combines five-star amenities with an authentic agrarian experience. Residents and visitors will enjoy a restaurant and café featuring produce grown on-site, an extensive spa, several pools, and a state-of-the-art fitness facility.
Special emphasis was placed on maintaining the Stanly site’s rural feel. Says BrightView Design Group Principal, Eliot Hoyt, “The Carneros region has been known for producing wine for generations. Stanly Ranch is a vineyard now, and before that supported orchards and dairy cows. The agricultural tradition is strong in Napa and this development will integrate productive landscapes into the luxury resort environment in a way that celebrates the past and looks toward a more sustainable future. Our team is honored to be recognized by ASLA Colorado.”
