Baha Mar is the western hemisphere’s largest new resort project and most ambitious ever built in the Bahamas. Located on Cable Beach, the centerpiece is the 1,000-room Baha Mar Casino & Hotel; there will also be a Grand Hyatt, SLS Hotel, and Rosewood Hotel. Baha Mar includes 200,000 sq. ft. of convention space, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course, 12 pools, a 50-foot glass waterfall, and a 125,000 sq. ft. show lake with a programmed water display reaching 60 feet in the air. BrightView Design Group and BrightView Landscape Development were brought on to the project to help resolve major design issues that had contributed to nearly 100% construction budget inflation. Through a coordinated effort, innovative concepts were developed to maximize the design while adhering to strict budget constraints.
